Terms of Service
Linqed · last updated 2026-08-22
These terms govern use of Linqed, operated by Linqed, [registered legal entity name and address — to be added once Linqed completes business registration]. By creating an account you accept them.
1. The service
Linqed lets you upload your own LinkedIn data exports to receive analytics and AI-generated commentary about them, and lets agencies do the same on behalf of the individuals ("subjects") they manage.
2. Your responsibilities
- You will only upload a LinkedIn export belonging to yourself, or to a subject you have a lawful basis and, where required, that person’s consent to represent.
- Agency accounts are responsible for obtaining any consent needed from the individuals whose data they upload, and for configuring per-subject data-sharing settings (such as organization-level aggregation) accurately.
- You will not attempt to re-identify individuals from anonymised benchmark data, or use the service to build a competing product from aggregated data obtained through it.
3. What we do with your uploads
Described fully in our Privacy Policy. In short: we parse a defined, limited set of files from your export, never your private messages or security history, and compute your analytics deterministically before any AI-written commentary is added.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed via Stripe on the cycle you select at signup. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your data enters the deletion process described in our Privacy Policy.
5. AI-generated content
Insights, suggested actions, and chat responses are generated by an AI model and are provided for informational purposes. They are not professional, legal, financial, or marketing advice, and you remain responsible for decisions you make based on them. See our AI Transparency Notice for how this works.
6. Ownership
You retain all rights to the LinkedIn export data you upload. We claim no ownership over it, and use it only to provide the service to you as described in our Privacy Policy. We (or our licensors) own the Linqed software, the deterministic-metric methodology, and the visual design of any report or dashboard we generate. You may use, download, and share reports the service generates from your own data for your own business purposes, including showing them to your clients.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and offer no service-level credits at this time. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where practicable. If we introduce a formal uptime commitment for paid plans, it will be published on a status page linked from your account.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes, we will notify active account holders by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date constitutes acceptance; if you do not agree, you may cancel your account before the change takes effect.
9. Termination and data export
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to circumvent the data-handling exclusions described in our Privacy Policy, or use the service unlawfully. You may export your own account’s data at any time before termination from your account’s Privacy Centre; after termination, data enters the deletion process described in our Privacy Policy and cannot be recovered.
10. Liability and indemnity
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linqed is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content, and our total liability for any claim arising from these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or from data you upload without a lawful basis to do so, to the extent permitted by applicable law — this does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer-protection law.
11. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages of infrastructure providers we depend on (see our Sub-processors page), internet infrastructure failures, or government action.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Disputes will first be raised with us informally at support@linqed.pro; if unresolved within 30 days, either party may bring the matter before the competent court of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence instead.
13. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and (for agency accounts) our Data Processing Agreement, form the entire agreement between you and Linqed regarding the service.
