AI Transparency Notice
Linqed · last updated 2026-08-22
This notice explains, in the plain terms required by the EU AI Act’s transparency obligations for AI-generated content, how Linqed uses artificial intelligence and what role it plays in the numbers and advice you see.
The rule we build to
The AI never computes or extracts a number. Every statistic on your dashboard — impressions, growth rates, comparisons — is calculated by ordinary, deterministic software from the data in your uploaded LinkedIn exports. The AI model is shown those already-calculated numbers and asked only to write about them: to explain what they might mean and suggest what to do next.
This means a number on your dashboard is never a guess, an estimate, or something the model inferred from a data field it wasn’t given. If a figure isn’t present in your export, we say so — we do not ask the model to fill the gap.
What is AI-generated
Content written by the model is visually marked throughout the product with an “AI-written” label, and always states which of your own metrics it is based on. AI-generated content includes:
- Written interpretation of your metrics (why a number might matter)
- Suggested next actions
- Answers in the AI chat feature
- Grouping your posts into topics, for counting purposes
Content that is not AI-generated, and never carries the label, includes every chart, every raw count, every percentage, and every comparison shown elsewhere on the dashboard.
Where inference happens
Written interpretation is not yet enabled in the product — you will see this stated directly on your dashboard until it is. When it goes live, it will run only on a provider that is EU-hosted and operates under a Zero Data Retention policy — meaning the provider does not store, read, or reuse the content of what is sent to it beyond the time needed to return a response. This page and our Sub-processors list will name the specific provider once it is finalised. We will not use batch-processing modes for this feature even where a provider offers one, because batch processing typically involves retaining submitted content, which would be inconsistent with this commitment.
Only pre-computed metric summaries are sent for interpretation — for example { "reach.median_daily": 2.5, "reach.mean_daily": 31.8 } — never your raw uploaded files, and never more of your post text than a metric has already summarised.
No fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effect
Linqed does not use AI to make decisions about you that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you. Generated insights are informational suggestions for you or your agency to act on at your own discretion; the product does not, for example, automatically act on your LinkedIn account or make hiring, credit, or eligibility decisions.
Feedback
Every AI-written insight can be rated. That feedback is used to evaluate and improve the quality of future insights and is not used to personalise advertising or shared with any third party for their own purposes.
